Samantha El-Zorkany
Samantha Elzorkany is Bank Relationship Manager at Sigma Tax Pro, where she manages the partner relationships behind the company's refund transfer and taxpayer advance programs. Her work is what makes it possible for a partner office to collect preparation fees directly from a client's refund instead of chasing payment from taxpayers who may have no cash on hand until that refund arrives. For a great many offices, that single mechanism is the difference between a workable business model and an unworkable one.
The role runs on detail. Program terms, enrollment windows, funding thresholds, advance amounts, and compliance requirements shift from one season to the next, and each partner sets its own. Sama tracks those changes across every partner, translates them into something a partner office can act on, and is the person offices reach when a bank product question needs answering before a return can go out. Getting an enrollment wrong in December is a problem an office lives with all season, so much of the value in her role is delivered before filing even opens.
She came to Sigma Tax Pro from a technology services background and was promoted into her current role from Bank Relationship Specialist. She holds an MBA alongside a bachelor's degree.
