Sigma Tax Pro, LLC and their affiliates and subsidiaries (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Sigma Tax,” “us,” “we,” “our,” or “Company”) has created this Privacy Policy to apply to all users of this website, www.sigmataxpro.com, and all digital assets contained or offered therein (collectively, our “Services”). This Privacy Policy describes, among other things, the types of information we collect from users when you use our Services, how we use it, and how you can access your information.

This Privacy Policy is integrated into our Terms & Conditions of Use (“Terms & Conditions”). By using the Services and providing us with your personal Information (defined below), you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions and to the updates to these policies posted here from time to time.

  • Domain server from which you are using our Services;

Our Services may contain links to websites or services not owned or controlled by us, including social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, or YouTube. This Privacy Policy only applies to Information collected by our Services. We are not responsible for the privacy and security practices of other websites or platforms. Links do not constitute or imply an endorsement.

IV. Information security

We use commercially reasonable and appropriate administrative, physical, and technical security measures to provide our Services and safeguard your information. However, no data transmitted over the Internet or stored by us or our third-party service providers can be 100% secure, and we do not promise or guarantee that your Information or private communications will always remain private or secure. If you believe your Information has been accessed or acquired by an unauthorized person, please contact us promptly.

V. Data retention

We will retain your Information for as long as needed to provide you Services, and as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies. We are under no obligation to store such Information indefinitely.

VI. Your choices

  • Marketing communications.Click the “unsubscribe” link in any marketing email to opt out, or contact us.

VII. Geographic location of data storage and processing

Our Services are targeted to individuals located in the United States, and Information is processed and stored in databases located in the United States. If you visit from outside the United States, you consent to the transfer of personally identifiable Information to the United States.

VIII. Accessing, correcting, or deleting your information

To the extent certain state laws provide users with data subject rights — such as the right to opt out, access, or delete their personal Information — those rights may be honored by the Company following proper authentication and verification. See How to Contact Us below.

IX. Children's information

The Services are intended only for users over the age of sixteen (16). If we become aware that a user under sixteen has provided Information, we will take steps to remove it as required by law. Contact us if you believe we have mistakenly collected Information from a child under sixteen.

X. Difficulty accessing our privacy policy

Individuals with disabilities who are unable to usefully access our Privacy Policy online may contact us to inquire how to obtain a copy in another, more easily readable format.

“Do Not Track” signals

We do not support “Do Not Track,” a preference you can set in your web browser. Do Not Track is different from Global Privacy Controls (“GPC”), which may notify websites of consumers' privacy preferences regarding the sale or sharing of personal Information.

  • SMS consent communication. Information obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
  • Types of SMS communications. If you have consented, you may receive conversational messages such as appointment reminders. Reply STOP to opt out at any time.
  • Message frequency. Frequency may vary; for example, up to 2 SMS messages per week regarding your appointments or account status.
  • Potential fees.Standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier's pricing plan.
  • Opt-in method. You may opt in verbally, during a conversation.
  • Opt-out method.Reply “STOP” to any SMS message, or contact us directly to request removal.
  • Help. Reply with the keyword HELP, or get help directly from us at support.sigmataxpro.com. If you do not wish to receive SMS messages, do not check the SMS consent box on our forms.
  • Standard messaging disclosures.Message and data rates may apply; you can opt out at any time by texting “STOP”; for assistance text “HELP”; message frequency may vary.
