Brad Anderson serves as Controller and Financial Operations Manager at Sigma Tax Pro, bringing more than a decade of tax and accounting expertise to the team. A Certified Public Accountant since 2013, Brad spent 12 years at a public accounting firm where he built a deep foundation in tax return preparation, financial statement preparation, and audit engagements, working directly with clients through filing seasons rather than observing them from a distance.
That client side experience is why his perspective carries weight internally. Brad has sat on the preparer's side of a deadline, reconciled a return under time pressure, and defended a position through an audit engagement. So when Sigma Tax Pro weighs a decision about calculation accuracy, reporting, or how the software should behave when the numbers do not agree, he can speak to what actually goes wrong in a working office rather than to what should happen in theory. Today he oversees the company's controller function and financial operations, covering internal reporting, reconciliation, and the financial controls behind Sigma Tax Pro's bank product and managed services programs.
Outside the office, Brad can be found exploring the underwater world while snorkeling, or cheering on his children from the sidelines of a Little League baseball game.
